Attention All Educators!
Join us in North Bay, ON. as we learn with the authors of RETHINKING FRACTIONS! Come for a day of purposeful, engaging, and practical fractions learning, suitable for K- Gr. 9 math educators. Shelley Yearley and Tara Flynn will be sharing their research and expertise to lead us through a full day of learning. You will come away with practical strategies and research-tested activities for engaging students in learning about fractions. These opportunities will allow you to build your confidence in teaching fractions, leaving you feeling empowered to use precise and powerful representations and language that support student thinking. NOMA is pleased to share math game resources to support students and families as they engage in math learning at home.
