Teaching Mathematical Ideas with Intention
Avoid "just doing the math!"  What does it look like to focus math instruction on ideas? 
Join us for our next 2 learning sessions and learn how we can be more intentional in bringing these ideas to our students.  In addition, learn how to improve our questioning skills to see what aspects of these ideas students are seeing.
We will use primary, junior, and intermediate examples!

Session 1:  Tuesday, November 13, 4-5 pm
Session 2:  Thursday, November, 29, 4-5 pm

Session 2 will build upon some take-aways from our learning during Session 1.  It would be ideal, but not necessary, for participants to take part in both sessions to engage fully in the learning. 

Free to NOMA members!
